Suspension of Companies The Exchange regularly monitors compliance of corporates' to various clauses of the Listing Agreement. It has been observed that there are 44 companies (list enclosed) which have failed to submit quarterly results for the quarters ending June, September and December 2001 as per the requirements of Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement. The said companies were issued showcause notices and reminders. However, the companies failed to comply with Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement. In the circumstances, the Exchange has decided to suspend trading in the securities of the said 44 companies w.e.f. October 1, 2002 until further notice. Out of 44 companies, trading in the scrips of 2 companies (marked " * ") is already suspended by the Exchange for various other non-compliances.
