The Index Committee, of The Stock Exchange, Mumbai in its meeting held on 24th November 2000, has decided to replace one scrip in Sensex. Cipla Ltd. (Scrip Code 87) would be included in BSE Sensitive index (SENSEX) in place of Novartis (India) Ltd. (Scrip Code 672) which had recently demerged its Agri-Business into a separate company.
