BSE to Launch Electronic Contract Note (ECN) and Speedx Plus

BSE has been taking various initiatives in introducing new products in the past and in the same lines is now launching two more new products from 24th February, 2004. The details of which is as follows:

1. Electronic Contract Note (ECN)
2. Speedx Plus

ECN
Electronic Contract Notes cum Bill system is meant for Members of both BSE and NSE. The Digitally Signed Electronic Contract Notes system, which is a precursor to the launch of the STP system, comprehensively covers the retail and institutional segments and allows Members of both exchanges to issue Contract Notes cum Bill to their investors through a simple file upload utility. Members can also issue the Contract Note cum Bill to their Sub Brokers' investors through the same system.
