The Securities and Exchange Board of India ("SEBI"), vide its order dated 29th April, 2002 debarred Home Trade Ltd., (Clg.no. 417) under sections 11 and 11B of the SEBI Act, from dealing in securities.

The Exchange had issued a show cause notice to Home Trade Ltd., in respect of the same. The member did not reply to the show cause notice nor did anyone personally appear on behalf of the member (on being given opportunities to do so) before the Governing Board of the Exchange.

The Exchange has therefore, expelled Home Trade Ltd. (Clg. no 417), a corporate member of the Exchange, with effect from 13th August, 2002 for contravention of the Rules, Bye-Laws and Regulations of the Exchange.
