Media Release Mr. SHEKHAR DATTA JOINS BOMBAY STOCK EXCHANGE BOARD OF DIRECTORS Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) inducted Mr. Shekhar Datta, former Managing Director & President of Greaves Cotton Limited as a Public Interest Director on its Board. Mr. Datta who holds a degree Mech. Engg (London), is currently the Chairman of Lombardini (India) Pt. Ltd. and Director with Wockhardt Ltd., Vesuvius India Limited and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL). He was also a consultant with International Business Advisory Council of UNIDO, President of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII - 1996 - 97), Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Indo - Italian Chamber of Commerce. He has received several special honours namely: COMMENDATORE (1995) Order of the Merit of the Italian Republic; Winner of The Indo - British Trophy among others. Welcoming his appointment Mr. Rajnikant Patel, Managing Director & C.E.O. of BSE said, “We are pleased to have him on the board of BSE Ltd.
