The Hindi website would give details on the stock market, news updates on business and economy. Updates on scrip movements, corporate announcements and Investor guidance are the key features on this website.

Members' Database;
Members are the key interface between the Exchange and the investors. BSE has launched a completely new section on BSE members on its website. It is a detailed profile of each member along with their directors' profile at the click of a button. The feature also provides facilities like awareness of name changes incase the investor is not aware of a name change. It would not only act as a medium of communication for the members but also would allow investors to know more about the members they deal with or would like to deal with. The search on member profiles can also be done by the clearing numbers or by the cities they are located in. A click and go on any member's clearing number will open the profile of the member. Similarly a click on any city would give the names of the members located in that city along with their profiles. A key feature of the "Member's Database" is that it would allow Members to update information about themselves on an on-going basis. Very soon this added feature will be open to the members. This would therefore ensure that the information is always updated and the users are benefited with the latest information.

MobiTrack.
Adding to the glamour of the Investor friendly exchange, MOBITRACK - Live sensex quotes on your mobile phone has also been launched amidst the grandiose of the Lakshmi Pooja and the Muhurat Trading. MOBITRACK allows any investor who has a WebX log in ID and password to access Mobitrack through his / her GPRS handset. The special features of Mobitrack are Market Watch that allows the investor to track the Last Traded Price, change and the percentage change of each scrip along with the up and down indicator. The Investor can even see the details on the high, low, Weighted Average, total traded value and quantity, depth of the scrip, best buy / sell and the prices of a particular scrip in the market. The user can also select a profile which is a list of scrips that have been bookmarked to track using www.bsewebx.co.in trading login. The user will be able to add / modify the profile and view selected scrips which would get auto refreshed every 30 seconds. Mobitrack also enables the users to view the market summary which is categorized as the Gainers / losers - Group wise, the BSE indices and also the sectoral indices. Live corporate announcements from BSEindia.com site will also be available to the users.

MUHURAT TRADING :
Muhurat (auspicious) 'Muhurat trading' marks the beginning of the new trading year for the Gujarati community, who form the bulk of share brokers in India.

For the trading communities of the north the new financial year begins with Diwali. That is the reason puja is performed for account books, safes and tijoris on Dhanteras as well as on Diwali day. A coin is placed on the account books before the puja which is supposed to signify wealth , and the coin is preserved and again used in the puja in the next Diwali.

The stock brokers perform "Chopra pooja" at the exchange and a customary 'muhurat trading' trading takes place at the stock exchange, when the SENSEX invariably notches up a few points even in a bad market. The story goes that on the night of Lakshmi Puja , the Goddess comes to reside at the place of the puja, that is the reason the traders and shopkeepers keep awake with lights burning all night to welcome Lakshmi any time she chooses to come.
