The Stock Exchange, Mumbai is pleased to announce that Shri N.P. Sarda has been nominated as the member of Governing Board as a Public Representative. He replaces Shri M.M. Chitale in the Governing Board.

Shri N.P. Sarda is a partner of Deloitte Haskins & Sells Chartered Accountants and C.C. Chokshi & Co. He was also the President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in 1993-94. He has represented ICAI in on the Board of "International Accounting Standards Committee" from January 1993 to June 1995. He is presently a member of Accounting standards Committee of Securities Exchange Board of India.
