Suspension of Companies The Exchange regularly monitors compliance of corporates' to various clauses of the Listing Agreement. It has been observed that there are 21 companies (Annexure-A) which have failed to submit quarterly results for the quarters ending December 2002 & March 2003 and 17 companies (Annexure-B) which have failed to submit quarterly results for the quarters ending March 2003 and June 2003 as per the requirements of Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement. The said companies were issued showcause notices and reminders. However, the companies have failed to comply with Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement. In the circumstances, the Exchange has decided to suspend trading in the securities of the said 38 companies w.e.f. January 27, 2004 until further notice. Out of 38 companies, trading in the scrips of 5 companies (marked " * ") is already suspended by the Exchange for various other non-compliances.
