REVISION IN BSE-100, BSE-200 and BSE-500

The Index committee of the Exchange in its meeting held on Friday, 18th August 2000 reviewed the BSE Indices.

The committee made 15 replacements in BSE 100, 31 replacements in BSE 200 and 55 replacements in BSE 500. Consequent to the revision in BSE 500, the five sectoral indices (which are a subset of BSE 500 Index) have also undergone a change. All these changes would come into effect from 3rd October, 2000. There was no change made in BSE Sensex.
