Introduction of Dollex-100 Index and computation of

Dollex-30, Dollex-100 and Dollex-200 Index on Real Time Exchange Rate

BSE announces introduction of ‘Dollex-100', a dollar-linked version of BSE-100 index effective from May 22, 2006.

Presently, Dollex-30 and Dollex-200 indices are calculated on SENSEX and BSE-200 index respectively at the end of trading session by taking into account a rupee-US$ reference rate as announced by the Reserve Bank of India.

Effective May 22, 2006, Dollex-30, Dollex-100 and Dollex-200 index shall be computed and disseminated on real time basis through BSE On-Line Trading system (BOLT) taking into account real time exchange rate.
