This has reference to Exchange announcement dated May 8, 2007 regarding revision in free-float adjustment factors of BSE index constituents. It may be noted that pursuant to Ambuja Cement India Ltd. acquiring 2.74% shares in ACC Ltd. on May 8, 2007, promoter holding in ACC Ltd. has changed.
With effect from May 14, 2007, the free-float adjustment factor of ACC Ltd. for BSE indices shall be changed from 0.65 to 0.60. The company is presently part of SENSEX, BSE-100, BSE-200 and BSE-500 index.
