Suspension of Companies

The Exchange regularly monitors compliance of corporates to various clauses of the Listing Agreement. It has been observed that there are 85 companies (list enclosed) which have failed to submit quarterly results for the quarters ending June, September and December 2001 as per the requirements of Clause 41 of the Listing Agreement. The said companies were issued showcause notices to which the companies have failed to reply.

In the circumstances, the Exchange has decided to suspend trading in the securities of the said 85 companies w.e.f. Monday, May 13, 2002 until further notice
