The Derivatives Segment of BSE today recorded its highest volumes since the launch of Sensex futures on 9th June 2000. The Sensex futures recorded volumes of 871 contracts aggregating Rs. 16.52 crs. Open Interests also increased in proportion to touch Rs.15.47 Crores with volume of 810 contracts.

Volumes have been increasing steadily over the past few months and we expect to see an exponential increase in turnover in the near future
