List of Illiquid Scrips
SEBI has directed the Stock Exchanges to draw up a list of illiquid securities based on criteria jointly agreed between BSE, NSE and SEBI and make it available to the trading members on a monthly basis.
This activity is being carried out so that the trading members exercise additional due diligence while trading in these securities either on their own account or on behalf of their clients.
Accordingly, BSE every month, on the 3rd working day, issues a notice and list of illiquid securities , based on trading activity during the preceding month. The list of such scrips gets reviewed on a monthly basis.
